Let’s see… I’ll also write down my schedule of what happened today.
•Period 0 : P.E/Hill
Nothing much really happened except that we go to go into the BOG (Big Ol’ Gym) and just play volleyball inside. It was hella freezing outside so of course we said that we wanted to play inside or else we’ll be freezing our legs off!!
•Collab time
Uh we just worked on our Sumi video questions about that “interesting” life of Mendel. Then I was coloring the shrinky dink I outlined yesterday and it was still in its big, thin paper form before I go bake it in the oven. Yes, I mean bake it as in put it inside the oven. It just takes like a minute before you see of crumble and shrink to a mini charm. :)
•Period 1 : Geometry/Kanik
Good thing here was that Kanik wasn’t here today so I kinda laid back on homework yesterday night. We just did a Chapter 6.2 worksheet and I was asking Hien “What’s better, Trumpets or Trombones?” Then Aaron heard and said “Trombones hell yea! Screw Trumpets!” Then Hien also argued but then like 10 seconds later he said “Nah it’s trombones that are better.” Aaron also said the same thing but the opposite. -w-“
•Period 2 : Mandarin/Man
GAHHH WHY MUST I GET NUMBER 2 FOR?!?!? Now my group has to present our Mandarin Powerpoint presentation on Friday!! Gah well Alice was scolding me to write the pin yin for the powerpoint! 哎呀！！
•Period 3 : Biology/Sumi
Hm, nothing much even happened in class. Just learned about the dominant gene and the recessive one.
•Period 4 : Cognetta/Concert Band
New music today! But first, just translating Chromatics.
Ab = G#
Bb = A#
Cb = B (rare)
Db = C#
Eb = D#
Fb = E (rare)
Gb = F#
Ah well I know these since I’ve been playing piano for a while lately haha ;]
Well the new music name was something with the sea in it… hm forgot it but then the Timpani part was not a spamming of 6 bars of rolls in it!! Yay!! There was alot of dotted quarter notes and lots of accents with f, ff, and fff (the last note in the end) haha. Sounds very exciting, and so glad the notes for timpani was F and Bb… so easy! :D It’s also the song Ms.C said we might play for the festival and the Spring Concert :] (Edit : The name of that piece is ‘The Maelstorm’ I remember it now yay!)
•Lunch
Just messed around with the quads with Peter, Zenas, Gilbert, Phillip, and Florence haha. I think they were learning Sweaty and Zenas stepped on the dead cracked up cockaroach ew..! And holy shoot, I totally forgot about Origami Club!! I just remembered when I saw Bart and Leon walk out of the classroom. Dammit…. :(
•5th Period : Language Arts/Johnston
Gilbert was saying that he’ll punch my face in because I was opening his backpack and it was funny :D During our Writer’s Choice work, I wasn’t paying attention at all and I screwed up badly! 。＿。
